Wildfires in Mirandela and Proença-a-Nova under control; traffic interrupted in Portel
The wildfires in Cedães (Mirandela) and Alvito da Beira (Proença-a-Nova) have reached the resolution phase. Meanwhile, an active wildfire in Portel has forced the closure of the EN 238 between Portel and Amieira, and sections of the IP2.
Why it mattersIf you are driving in the Portel area, be aware that the EN 238 and parts of the IP2 are closed due to an active wildfire; seek alternative routes.
