Vaccination campaign starts this Wednesday. "The sooner the better"
The flu and COVID-19 vaccination campaign begins today, September 30. Flu vaccination is now free for children aged 2 to 4, and pharmacies can vaccinate people aged 18 to 59 with risk pathologies, as well as those aged 60 to 84. Vaccination for those 85 and older remains exclusive to the SNS. COVID-19 vaccination recommendations now target those 70 and older, as well as high-risk groups.
Why it mattersIf you are in an eligible group (children 2-4, seniors, or those with chronic conditions), you can now get your flu and COVID-19 vaccines; check if you are eligible for free pharmacy vaccination or if you must go to a public SNS health center based on your age and risk status.
