SNS 24: waiting times increase and some users now wait over an hour
The average waiting time for the SNS 24 health line has risen significantly, from 63 seconds in February to nearly five minutes in June, with peak periods seeing users wait between 30 minutes and two hours. Despite a contractual obligation for the service provider, Altice, to keep average wait times under 30 seconds, this target has not been met since October 2024, resulting in 1.5 million euros in fines paid between 2024 and 2025.
