Six-month Euribor reaches new high since September 2024
The six-month Euribor rate rose to 3.103% on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, marking its highest level since September 2024. The three-month and 12-month rates also saw increases, fixing at 2.617% and 3.362% respectively.
Why it mattersIf you have a variable-rate mortgage, particularly the six-month Euribor index which is currently the most common in Portugal, your monthly payment will likely increase at your next scheduled review.
