Sintra. Workers to gather in front of the city hall on Tuesday

Employees of the Sintra municipality and the municipal water and sanitation services (SMAS) will hold a protest at 9:00 am on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, in front of the city hall (Paços do Concelho). The demonstration, organized by the STAL union, demands a meeting with the mayor to address unresolved labor issues, including equipment, pay supplements, and working conditions, following the cancellation of previously scheduled meetings by the municipality.
