Secondary School Scholarship: who receives it, how much is it worth, and how does it work?

The scholarship is automatically awarded to students in the 10th, 11th, or 12th grade who receive the Family Allowance (Abono de Família) and belong to the 1st or 2nd income bracket. The annual payment is 150.26 euros per student, or 225.40 euros for children in single-parent households. No separate application is required, but students 14 and older must ensure their 'Prova Escolar' is submitted via the Social Security Portal by July 31st to maintain eligibility.
