Respiratory Syncytial Virus vaccination: find out which babies are covered by the free immunization

Babies born between April 1, 2026, and March 31, 2027, are eligible for free immunization against the Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV). The campaign also includes premature babies born between January 1 and March 31, 2026, who were not previously immunized, and children up to 24 months old with specific high-risk conditions as of September 30, 2026. The immunization, which uses the nirsevimab antibody, is available for free at public hospitals, private and social sector maternity wards, and primary health centers.
