Renewal of paper residence cards
EU nationals and their family members who hold paper-based residence cards (CR) must ignore the leading zero when entering their card number into the AIMA renewal portal. If the portal still rejects the submission after this adjustment, applicants should email geral@aima.gov.pt with the subject line 'Portal de Renovações, Agendamento CR papel, impossibilidade submeter pedido'.
