Queues, chants and high abstention: Brazilians at the polls in Portugal

A record 134,000 Brazilians were registered to vote in Portugal for this election. Despite reports of queues and high turnout in some areas, the abstention rate in Lisbon reached approximately 70%. Provisional results indicate victories for Lula in Lisbon and Porto, and for Flávio Bolsonaro in Faro.
