Porto to have restricted stops and no-go zones for ride-hailing (TVDE) by the end of the year
The city of Porto is currently designing a map of restricted stopping points and zones for TVDE services (such as Uber and Bolt) as part of its Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan. The city is currently in a public consultation phase and expects the measures to be fully implemented by the end of 2026.
Why it mattersIf you drive for a ride-hailing platform or rely on them for transport in Porto, your pick-up and drop-off options will change significantly once these new restricted zones are implemented by the end of the year.
