Ovar City Council resumes telephone service following cyberattack, but with deferred response

The Ovar City Council has resumed general telephone service (256 581 300) following a major cyberattack on 17 and 18 October, though responses are deferred as requests are manually registered and forwarded to departments. Municipal email addresses, the BUPi service, and the EcoLinha remain unavailable, and urban planning processes are suspended. A specific mobile line (926 691 783) is available for urban planning inquiries only on weekdays between 14:00 and 16:30.
