More than 10,000 lose IRS tax benefits

The Court of Auditors (TdC) reported that the Tax Authority (AT) reviewed over one million IRS declarations and cancelled tax benefits for more than 10,000 taxpayers, resulting in an additional 4 million euros in tax revenue. The TdC warned that the government's fiscal expenditure reports still fail to fully account for roughly 100 of the 320 identified tax benefits due to IT and operational limitations, leading to an underestimation of potential tax revenue.
