More companies in the eurozone expect requests for higher wage increases

A European Central Bank survey of 64 large non-financial companies found that 40% now anticipate inflation will lead to higher wage demands, up from 20% in the previous survey. While wage growth is expected to slow from 3.2% in 2025 to 2.9% by 2027, this deceleration is less pronounced than previously forecasted due to economic conditions.
