Ministry signs new contracts with public universities to add 3,020 training places for teachers
The Ministry has signed new contracts with public universities across the country to create 3,020 additional training slots for teachers. The Government notes that Portugal will need to recruit around 20,000 new teachers by the 2029-2030 academic year and approximately 39,000 by 2034-2035.
