Minister highlights record number of vacancies for prosecutor candidates, but Public Ministry says they are not enough

The Centre for Judicial Studies (CEJ) has begun a training course for 215 new magistrates, including 89 candidates for the Public Ministry, marking an increase of 80 total vacancies compared to 2024. While the government considers this a significant reinforcement, the Public Ministry maintains that the number of prosecutors remains insufficient given their current workload and responsibilities.
