Intermunicipal entities to receive 13.2 million euros

The government's 2027 State Budget proposal allocates 13.2 million euros in direct funding to Portugal's metropolitan and intermunicipal entities, an increase of 1.13 million euros compared to 2026. This funding supports the administrative and operational costs of these local government bodies across the country, while separate allocations for transport authorities, such as the 43.1 million euros for the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, remain consistent with previous levels.
