Half of higher education vacancies in the interior remain unfilled
Following the second phase of national university admissions, 4,069 vacancies remain for the third phase, with 60% located in the interior of the country. Students admitted in the second phase must complete enrollment between Thursday, October 1, and Saturday, October 3. Applications for the third phase open October 10–12, with available vacancies published October 9. Separately, a public administration strike on Friday, October 2, may disrupt school operations nationwide.
Why it mattersIf you are a student admitted in the second phase, you must enroll by October 3; if you are still seeking a place, watch for the third-phase vacancy list on October 9. Additionally, if you have children in school, expect potential service disruptions this Friday, October 2, due to the public sector strike.
