The government's proposed rental reforms, currently under parliamentary discussion, include allowing eviction proceedings after two months of rent arrears (down from three), removing the 2% cap on new contract rent increases for most tenants, and allowing landlords to demand three months' security deposit instead of two. Euribor averages for three, six and 12 months rise again in September
