Government extends solidarity gas cylinder support and strengthens measure for transport companies

The government has extended the 25-euro solidarity gas cylinder subsidy for vulnerable families until December, costing the state 5.7 million euros this year. It also introduced a temporary regime for passenger and freight transport companies, ensuring all carriers can receive support covering 70% of extraordinary fuel cost increases starting today.
