Government asks Parliament not to choose subversion and cites the President of the Republic

During the final debate on the 2027 State Budget, Minister of the Presidency António Leitão Amaro stated that any proposals for additional spending or tax cuts must be balanced by corresponding cuts or tax increases elsewhere. The Minister also condemned violence during housing protests, citing the President of the Republic's recent remarks on the necessity of respecting the law while exercising freedom.
