Fuel sales at service stations drop 6% in August

Retail sales of road fuels fell by 6.07% in August compared to August 2025, driven by an 8.66% drop in diesel consumption while petrol sales dipped 0.59%. ENSE attributes the sharper decline in diesel to higher price increases following supply crises and a structural shift in the vehicle fleet toward petrol hybrids.
