Fuel: Portugal already records 30% increases and there are countries where they exceed 40%
Data from Eurostat shows that the price of fuel for individual transport in the EU rose by 31.4% in September compared to September 2025. In Portugal, the annual increase was 30.3%, while month-on-month (compared to August 2026), diesel prices in Portugal rose by 5.1% and petrol by 5.9%.
