Flixbus replaces bus terminal with stop next to the courthouse in Peniche
Starting today, Monday, September 14, 2026, Flixbus will no longer operate from the main bus terminal in Peniche, moving its operations to the bus stop near the local courthouse. The terminal operator, Rodoviária do Oeste, stated the decision was made unilaterally by Flixbus and warned that the new location, which already handles 117 daily public bus services, may face operational and safety constraints.
Why it mattersIf you use Flixbus in Peniche, do not go to the main terminal; go to the stop by the courthouse instead. Expect potential delays and crowding due to the high volume of traffic at this alternative location.
