Fire in Odemira fought by more than 250 operatives and five aerial resources

A wildfire broke out on Thursday afternoon in the municipality of Odemira, in the Beja district, consuming brush and cork oak in the area of Nave Redonda, Sabóia. As of 18:40, the fire was spreading with some intensity due to strong winds and difficult access, mobilizing 256 operatives, 77 vehicles, and five aerial resources, with no homes at risk or injuries reported.
