Family reunification in decline: AIMA granted 31% fewer permits in a year

AIMA granted 17,359 new residency titles for family reunification last year, a 31% decrease compared to the previous year. As of the end of the year, 24,476 reunification applications remained pending, a figure that exceeds the total number of permits granted throughout the year by 41%.
