EasyJet carried out four flights beyond minimum services on the first day of the strike

A strike by easyJet cabin crew began this Friday, October 2, and runs until Tuesday, October 6. Of the 428 flights originally scheduled for the five-day period, 343 have been cancelled; the union claims the airline is attempting to circumvent the strike by using managers and non-Portuguese crew, which the airline denies.
