Earthworks business owners received by the Government on Monday

Protesting business owners in the earthworks and construction transport sector, who began a slow-march demonstration today along the A41 and A1 motorways toward Coimbra, have secured a meeting with the Government for Monday, September 28. The protest involves over 500 heavy vehicles demanding relief from rising fuel costs, which the group claims have surged from 1.59 euros to 2.22 euros per litre since February.
