Citizen Shop opening in the Algarve attends to 2,000 requests

A new Loja do Cidadão opened on 28 September in the Ria Shopping centre in Olhão, providing access to Tax, Social Security, and Registry services. The facility, which has been operational for two weeks, offers 15 service counters to reduce the need for residents to travel to other municipalities.

Brazilian citizens living abroad who did not vote in the recent election must submit a justification to the Electoral Justice to avoid status issues. The justification can be submitted via the e-Título app or the 'Título Net' portal until December 3, 2026. If there is a second round, a separate justification must be submitted by January 8, 2027.
