Cascais municipality resumed asbestos removal at the former secondary school

After a temporary suspension by the Authority for Working Conditions (ACT) due to safety concerns, the removal of asbestos from the former Cascais Secondary School buildings resumed on Monday 19 October. The municipality confirmed that approximately 80% of the material has already been transported to a landfill, with the remaining 20% scheduled for removal by Wednesday 21 October, following reinforced safety measures.
