Campaign promotes head and neck cancer screenings next week
The 'Make Sense' European awareness week runs from September 21 to September 26, featuring free screenings for the general population. Specifically, screenings will be held at Hospital CUF Tejo (Lisbon) from September 21 to 25, at the IPO in Porto on September 22 (09:30–13:30), and at the IPO in Lisbon on September 28 (08:30–13:00).
Why it mattersIf you are concerned about persistent symptoms like mouth ulcers that won't heal, persistent hoarseness, or throat pain lasting over three weeks, these screenings offer a chance for early detection, which significantly improves survival rates.
