Azores government opens contest for 40 nurses in regional hospitals

The Azores regional government has announced two public competitions to hire 40 nurses, to be placed at the Divino Espírito Santo Hospital in Ponta Delgada (25) and the Santo Espírito Hospital on Terceira Island (15), with a deadline by the end of the year.

Infarmed prohibits the export of 52 medicines

The health authority Infarmed has suspended the export of 52 medicines, including certain antidepressants, painkillers, antibiotics, and cancer treatments, effective Tuesday, 2026-10-06.
