Algarve city dedicates October to older residents

The municipality of Tavira is hosting 'Senior Month 2026' throughout October, featuring activities to promote social inclusion, active ageing, and combat isolation among older residents. The programme complements existing year-round social support services, including psychosocial support, cognitive stimulation, fitness classes, and health literacy initiatives run in partnership with the local Social Network.
