6-month Euribor rises again. Highest level in two years

The 6-month Euribor rate reached 2.978% today, an increase of 0.016 points, marking its highest level since October 2024. Meanwhile, the 3-month rate fell to 2.620% and the 12-month rate decreased to 3.343%.

Why it mattersIf you have a variable-rate mortgage linked to the 6-month Euribor, which accounts for the largest share of variable-rate home loans in Portugal, expect your monthly payments to rise when your contract reaches its next revision date.
