One-third of the Portuguese are dissatisfied with their cities

A survey by the Francisco Manuel dos Santos Foundation indicates that 30% of Portuguese residents are dissatisfied with their cities, with the Lisbon Metropolitan Area (AML) reporting the lowest quality of life ratings in the country. Concerns are primarily driven by housing costs, healthcare access, and dissatisfaction with urban services such as noise, air quality, and public transport frequency.
