High-speed rail: Expropriations for the line advance in Aveiro
The government has declared urgent public utility for the expropriation of 1,076 plots of land across three municipalities in the Aveiro district to facilitate the Porto-Lisbon high-speed rail line. The construction consortium, AVAN, is responsible for the costs, with site preparation work including excavations and earthworks already underway in the region as of this month.
